My name is Pat Whittle, I was one of the many social workers that had the privilege to meet Jim and Joyce whilst carrying out my role as a foster care placement officer. I know that Jim was a wonderful role model of a father figure and family orientated man. Most of the children placed with the family had never experienced having a male role model and Jim fulfilled this role perfectly, his family must be very proud of his contribution to the lives of children in care.
